Reviewing the Huda Beauty 3D highlighter pink sands palette šŸ’„

So today I wanted to review the Huda Beauty 3D highlighter palette for your guys, as their had been a lot of different opinions. I have bought the pink sands, which matches my pale complexion a lot more but their is 2 different colours. Gold sands and Pink sands.

So the packaging is really pretty, the main colour being purple, however it is a little flimsy for the price of the item every time you open it the box sounds like it’s tearing. I wouldn’t say it was the strongest box I have seen makeup in.

When you open the little box you see the highlighters all separated in into 4 little squares. The highlighters are also named different things so you have the Capri which is the prep, Santorini which is the setting colour, Azores which is the sculpting colour and Ibiza which is the flush colour. Sounds confusing right!? Where do I put what colour?! This Huda Beauty highlighter palette has the instructions of what each colour does on lid of the box and where to put them! How amazing!!

So as you can see I have used this palette a lot. The colours are really pretty! So the first things I would pick out is these colours are powdery so you get a lot of drop out on to the palette so it can get very messy, however they are very pigmented and vibrant on your skin.

The only major downside I have to this 3D highlighter palette is it is too much as a highlighter it’s self, (over the top). Depending on what look you go far depends on how much you will like this highlighter. I always go for more of a subtle look just to give a little glow however I think this is more for a stated look. The colours seem to mingle into one highlight and it looks overdone. So if I was to use all of the colours at once then I would use them when going to a festival or going out out! However the highlighters them selves are probably my favourite, they do give you a long lasting healthy glow!. With the downside itself I still use the highlighter but I only apply a little highlight on top of my cheek bones I do this by using one shade at a time.

So this is the finished look of the Huda Beauty 3D pink sands highlighter. I have use the exact colours where they tell you to put them! As you can see it is very shiny and pigmented. This is just so you can see yourself what they look like on the skin.

I give this Highlighter palette a 8.0 out of 10

Thanks for reading my personal review, remember everyone’s opinions are different. Have fun buying. Night 😘

7 Top Tips For Picking Christmas Outfits šŸ’ƒšŸ½

Yes it’s that time of year again when we spend so much money on gifts, alcohol and clothes, however work gets so busy you have no time to shop so here is my step guide on how to find the perfect Christmas do outfit for you!

Step 1 : Narrow down your outfit ideas.

So for this step I always determine what sort of dress jumpsuit playsuit co-ords (you get the jist) I want to wear and how short or long I want to go. I normally do this by just asking what others are thinking of wearing, by this you can kind of get an idea for yourself what others are going for. Also by researching the venue your going to, websites for venues have a gallery so you can see what people wear, what the entertainments like, the overall decor of the place your going to, once you have researched this would hopefully have narrowed down your ideas! If I’m really struggling I normally go on to Pinterest and type in Christmas outfits or go on to clothing stores and go to their occasion wear section and just scroll through and see if anything grabs my attention.

Step 2 : Style & Colour of dress

Now were all guilty of just looking at the model that models the dresses and pick on what looks best on them! Girls that’s we’re your going wrong! Unfortunatly we don’t all look like the models, and if you do that’s great, that’s an easier decision for You!Some models have the curves we don’t, skin colour, hair colour, face shape…. However that’s what makes us unique. Colour is a big part in buying a dress, for instance I’ve gone for a bright red dress this year however I’m really pale now imagine me with my skin tone in a red dress….yes I thought so! So when I bought my dress I was prepared to have a spray tan. Also colour or dress could also depend on your hair colour now if I had pink hair my red dress would clash so be very careful about these factors when buying a dress. When coming to sizing style and shortness we have to think hard about this. short dresses are great but ladies will you be comfortable all night knowing if you bend down everyone will get an eye full! Also size well!! Be honest with your self is tour dress meant to look tight or is it supposed to be a little baggier but not only this but would you be compfortable with a tight dress on. Only you can determine what you’re ahape is and what would look good on you. Girls please remember have one showing not both. If you don’t know this saying then it basically means don’t show boobs and thighs and by this I mean a low cut dress that’s really short, be sophisticated and elegant!

Step 3 : Accsesories

So it your Christmas do-comes once a year jazz your outfit out, Bling your dress up. Try and go for things that match like reds and blacks, reds and silvers. You get it! But don’t be boring, have some bling on their a or maybe some fluff, you want to stand out your outfit shows your personality!

Step 4 : shoes and height

Okay I’m talking heels, now ladies it’s pretty simple for height, for one of three things, chunks or stilettos?!? wich is compfy for you? For me personally I like a wedge. Can you walk in high heels or do they cripple you? personally I can walk in both short and high, but then it comes to dancing can you dance in them, your the lady that has to stand in them all night with out looking discomforted.peep toe no peep toe? Straps no straps? This is completely up to you if I go for a short dress I tend to have some straps so the legs and feet don’t look so borig also shoes with straps make me feel so much more compfy and they feel like they wont slip Last but not least do they MATCH your clutch bag?! This is a big thing to me, do they go with your accessories? this isnt everyones style but this is my pet hate, I like to see things match.

Step 5 : Jewellery

So normally with jewellery I never mix gold and silver and because most of my everyday jewellery are silver I tend to go silver necklace and earrings so it all tides together by this doesn’t means you can’t go black pink blue, I tend to go silver stud and then the colour of my bag and shoes, also don’t over power the jewellery stick to minimal less is more!

Step 6 : Hairstyles

Now this is a hard one. People’s preferences are different but my go to guide for hair is if your dress is low cut have it up in like a low bun make it elegant this way you can see necklaces and earings and if it’s high necked I like it down curly, theirs no in between for me. Again if your struggling thats we’re pinterest come involved.

Step 7 : Nails & Makeup

So normally I get my nails done professionaly i have acrylic gel nails, I take a picture of my dress and have the colour match my nails I then have one or two fingers that are painted different that match my accessories(know I no what your thinking does everything have to match, no but this is how I like it) you don’t have to have them done you can just get them painted professionally or you can do them yourself but toes and fingers must match. i also get my eyelashes done professionally I do this once or twice a year for special occasions i just think their fun and look more bolder then my own. With regards to makeup I do this myself I tend to do more then what I’d do any other time making it look like I’ve made an effort with eyeshadows I normally take the colours that again match my dress. Makeup can be done all different ways and you can still look amazing!! Thank you for reading this my lovely’s and I hope it’s helped you a little more to find a christmas do dress! I hope you all have fun at your parties and I’ll speak with you soon!!šŸ•ŗšŸ¾šŸ’ƒšŸ½Merry Christmas😘
